Method Outdoor Collective is a Burlington Vermont based sales & marketing agency focused on introducing the brands of tomorrow to North American outdoor & lifestyle markets, today. We provide brand representation, retail service, sales strategy + consulting services to a growing portfolio of emerging global brands. Our mission is to build community and relationships that enable us to establish + accelerate our brand partner's business in the specialty outdoor and lifestyle markets. We leverage our extensive experience and broad network of retailers + outdoor industry leaders combined with YOUR passion for great brands and cool products to make it all happen.

YOU ARE Outgoing, outdoorsy and have prior Sales, Retail and/or Service Industry experience. You have a passion for the outdoors and are a savvy connoisseur of outdoor + lifestyle brands. You love sharing your enthusiasm for cool brands and product knowledge with others. A creative, dynamic and resourceful team-player you are comfortable reaching out to and influencing retail buyers & prospects via phone, email and in person. You are not easily discouraged, you understand that the real selling starts with “no” and that it typically it takes 4-5 connections to close a deal. You like to travel and are comfortable working long hours from time to time. You appreciate the benefits of a flexible / seasonal schedule and the MANY perks of working in the outdoor industry (travel to amazing places, great deals on gear, ski passes, etc).

TITLE: Brand Representative // Full-time // Year-round

START DATE: ASAP

REQUIREMENTS / DETAILS:

  • Prior Retail, Sales or Service Industry experience required

  • Full-time commitment with flexible hours

  • Vermont-based preferred but semi-remote office potential for right candidate

  • Must be comfortable with domestic travel

    • 3-14 days per month depending on time of year

    • think great places like the Rockies, Pacific Northwest, California and New England

    • occasional International travel opportunities as well: Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Japan, etc...

  • Occasional long hours, moving heavy objects and driving

    • Tradeshows, road trips, events, etc

  • Generous seasonal vacation + personal time off

  • Compensation:

    • Base salary plus commission & seasonal bonus opportunities

    • Expenses paid
